The school car will be provided for the road test.

What Parents Need to Do📋

A parent/legal guardian and the student must come to our driving school by appointment only.

The student’s NJ knowledge test result

The student’s required 6-point identification documents
Please call our school before coming to the office. Walk-ins are not accepted for permit processing!
Once we receive and process the permit through the DMV, we will begin your child’s six hours of behind-the-wheel training.
🛣️ Road Test🛣️
After your teen turns 17 years old, and has held a valid permit for the required 6 months, they may schedule their NJ road test.
One free road-test school car is included with the $420 package under the following conditions:
Road-Test Appointment Requirements

The road-test appointment must be scheduled between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

Parents must send us screenshot of the confirmed road-test appointment.

On the day of the road test, we will meet your student at the DMV road-test area and provide our school vehicle for the test.

Your student must bring their permit and required 6-point identification to the road test.
🚨 Transportation Is NOT Included🚨
The free road-test offer means we provide the Smart Choice Driving School vehicle at the DMV for the road test.
Pickup and drop-off transportation to or from the DMV is NOT included. Parents/students are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the DMV.
